December

I am currently looking forward to our upcoming break.  It is entertaining listening to the students here at Whitehall Elementary and Middle Schools.  They are definitely excited for Christmas, and I cannot blame them one bit.  At times, I think teachers look forward to the break just as much as the students.  I am sure all of the holiday goodies do not help this matter at all.
Mrs. Heilig is right with all of the bustle and getting the kids in order for another top-notch concert performance.  I hope that all of you will come out and support the students on Wednesday, December 16th at 7:00 pm.  I heard through the grapevine that there may even be a special guest appearance by…well you know who.
In all of the wrapping paper and spirit, I am constantly reminding myself what the true meaning of the season is to me personally.  I hope you all enjoy the time with your families during the break.  Everyone has a lot to accomplish and can sometimes get caught up in life.  I encourage you to recognize this and slow down this holiday season.  Spend more time with the ones that you hold close, and make it a new year’s resolution to do this throughout the year and your entire life.

Thanks for everything,
Mr. McLean
